Job summary

Relativity Space in Cape Canaveral, Florida, is seeking an engineer to lead the design, fabrication, operation, and maintenance of Terran R launch pad facilities. You will develop propellant and gas infrastructure, perform pipe stress analysis, and produce detailed drawings and diagrams while coordinating activation and initial operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in thermal and fluid analyses.
  • General experience with fluid components such as valves, regulators, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, fabricate, operate, and maintain the launch pad and support facilities for Terran R.
  • Design launch pad propellant and gas infrastructure, including fluid system design, modeling, pipe stress analysis, fabrication drawings, P&IDs, component lists, and detailed work instructions.
  • Supervise construction activation, commissioning, and initial operations of these facilities.
  • Solve technically challenging problems across multiple disciplines under varying programmatic pressures.
