Job summary
Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA Inc. is seeking a skilled engineer to lead the planning, installation, and launch of new model assembly processes in a high-volume automotive environment.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and global partners to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient operations. The role requires strong CAD capabilities, experience with automation systems, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Ability to read and analyze technical drawings and manuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and validate safety, quality, cycle time per standards.
- Support debugging, troubleshooting during launches to meet targets.
- Develop and implement countermeasures via root-cause analysis.
- Assist with PLC, robotics, vision, and automation system integration.
- Review equipment specs, layouts, and docs for manufacturing alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure launch success.
