A regional Catholic organization is seeking a Vicariate Hispanic Ministry Coordinator in Charlotte, NC. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years working in Hispanic Ministry at the parish level.
• Must be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.
• Pastoral experience in working with multiple cultures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the Hispanic Faithful in their journey of Faith.
• Communicate and dialogue closely with Pastors in the parishes.
• Offer preparation for liturgical ministries and workshops.
• Provide training in Family crisis support.
• Assist the Pastor in reaching out to the Hispanic population.
• Maintain financial records for Hispanic Ministry programs.
• Participate in the Safe Environment program.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English

Basic computer knowledge, including the MS Office suite

Strong listening, empathy, and organizational skills

Intermediate to advanced computer skills and familiarity with social media

Education

Formation/Certification in Hispanic Pastoral Leadership
