Job summary

ETE REMAN in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Machine Operator to support the remanufacturing of automatic transmissions. You will operate the Lathe and perform a range of duties to keep production moving, including reading specs, setting up fixtures, and assisting with quality checks.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to get dirty. You will work with a team in a manufacturing environment, following safety procedures and maintaining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; CNC certification desirable.
• At least two (2) years experience as a CNC Machinist preferred; knowledge of VMC and HMC.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• Comfortable using a variety of manufacturing tools and maintaining machinery.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to convey ideas and programs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with MS Office suite products.
• Ability to promote and live ETE values on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Lathe and perform a wide variety of duties to support remanufacturing processes.
• Read gauges and follow oral and written instructions.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; adhere to safety rules.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds and standing 8+ hours; frequent movements on the job.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production demands.
