ETE REMAN in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Machine Operator to support the remanufacturing of automatic transmissions. You will operate the Lathe and perform a range of duties to keep production moving, including reading specs, setting up fixtures, and assisting with quality checks.

As a Machine Operator you play a big part of the team in providing labor, parts, service and goods to other team members and departments, which is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent operating the Lathe as well as performing a wide variety of duties, along with specific tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor, being helpful, organized and fulfilling requests to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly within the department.

This position frequently requires reading and standing throughout the workday. Walking and sitting are required occasionally. Employees may occasionally lift and carry materials weighing more than 50 pounds with the assistance of mechanical equipment and may occasionally push or pull materials weighing more than 20 pounds. Use of stairs is required rarely. Employees must be able to safely operate material-handling equipment and follow all applicable safety procedures.
This position will be located in a manufacturing facility. You will be exposed to a variety of smells and odors due to the manufacturing process. Oils and other lubricants are plentiful and team members will get dirty. You will also be exposed to moderate to high noise coming from the manufacturing area. Hearing protection is available. Eye protection and steel‑toed footwear is required if you go on the manufacturing floor.
