Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lathe Machinist II for the 2nd shift, onsite. You will set up and operate CNC lathe with milling capabilities to produce complex parts with tight tolerances, contributing to high‑precision aerospace components within a team focused on craftsmanship and operational excellence.

Applicants should have 3+ years of CNC lathe experience, know G‑Code, and be familiar with Fanuc controls; FAA Drug & Alcohol Program compliance is required.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of G-Code is preferred.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls a plus.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry.
• Inspect all work performed, set up or adjust gauging equipment, detect unusual conditions and errors in blueprints.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches and operation sheets.
