Job summary

Moog is seeking a Machinist II for the 3rd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will manufacture high-precision aerospace components on CNC lathes with milling capabilities, close tolerances, and fine finishes. Interpret complex GD&T drawings and ensure quality in a collaborative, safety-focused cell.

We offer a $3,500 sign-on bonus with eligibility through a specified window. Candidates need 3+ years of CNC lathe experience, G-Code familiarity, and a commitment to craftsmanship and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise, ability to understand and apply work instructions in English.
• At least 3 years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience on Lathe machines with milling capabilities.
• G-Code knowledge is preferred; Fanuc controls knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under minimal supervision and assist in planning work within the cell.
• Set up and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances and fine finishes.
• Inspect all work, set up or adjust gauging equipment, detect unusual conditions, and verify against blueprints and operation sheets.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches and operation sheets.
