Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lathe Machinist to join our Military Aircraft Group on the 2nd shift. You will set up and operate CNC lathes to produce complex parts with tight tolerances and inspect work to ensure first-pass quality.

You will work with a team that values craftsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement, following GD&T drawings and Fanuc or similar controls. This role offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly wage with shift differential.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist.
• Knowledge of G-Code preferred.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls a plus.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances (.001 +/- .0005) on precision parts.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program participation is required due to Safety Sensitive Work rules.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and run CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances and complex geometry.
• Inspect work, set up gauging, detect deviations and errors from blueprints.
• Interpret drawings including GD&T and operation sheets.
