The Bellingham Police Department is seeking experienced law enforcement officers to join our team. This lateral opportunity offers advanced salary placement and a 1040 work schedule—five 10.7 hour days on, four days off, with regular training days—designed to support work-life balance for officers.

As a sworn officer, you will patrol and respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and engage with the community to uphold laws and protect residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Patrols a designated area of City on foot, bicycle, or in an automobile, motorcycle or small watercraft to investigate, deter and/or discover possible violations of criminal and vehicle (and/or boating) traffic laws, codes and/or ordinances.
