Job summary

Holland & Knight in Seattle/Portland is seeking a Lateral Intake Coordinator to support onboarding of lateral partners. You will open client files, draft engagement letters, and coordinate with conflicts, data governance, and practice teams to ensure smooth handoffs and timely setup of portable matters.

You'll manage data intake, track progress, and maintain client statuses across Integration Plans, collaborating with multiple internal groups to keep the intake process moving efficiently and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of client intake processes and data management.

Responsibilities

• Inputs key data into Intapp Intake’s request form to open clients and matters for Lateral Attorneys.
• Prepares draft engagement letters for incoming lateral partners by taking the portable matters chart provided by the Lateral Conflicts team.
• Reviews drafts with the lateral partner once they have started.
• Follows-up with lateral partner on missing data to ensure that clients get opened expeditiously.
• Assists with data intake and interfaces with Information Governance for data movement to appropriate workspaces.
