Job summary

McGuireWoods LLP in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Director of Lateral Integration to lead onboarding and integration of newly hired partners, primarily lateral partners, accelerating productivity, supporting client transitions, and embedding them into the firm’s culture and business development platform.

This role partners with firm leadership, practice groups, and professional services teams to translate lateral hiring into growth, cross‑practice collaboration, and sustained revenue.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in law firm administration, professional services, or similar.
• Exceptional project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting lateral hires and integration across practice groups.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead firmwide onboarding and integration for new partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional onboarding with BD, Practice Management, HR, IT, and operations.
• Build confidential relationships with new partners and guide them through culture and systems.
• Set and monitor integration metrics, including engagement and early revenue indicators.
• Develop playbooks, templates, and dashboards to sustain high‑quality integration.
