Job summary

Neogen Corporation seeks a Lateral Flow QC Supervisor to provide leadership and first-line management to Quality Technicians, ensuring high-quality service in the Quality Control department. Lead with expertise to support ISO17025 and related standards, maintain audit readiness, and guide day-to-day lab functions.

You will partner with Technical and Unit Managers to implement QMS, oversee investigations, and drive improvements while supporting product development and validation activities across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical science, chemistry, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a laboratory setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical management role is preferred.
• Experience implementing and managing ISO17025 quality management systems is desirable.
• Experience presenting scientific results to diverse audiences is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct line management including appraisal, development, performance monitoring and competency assessments.
• Engage with Accreditation Body assessment audits and deliver evidence of compliance.
• Seek improvements to service delivery and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to develop capabilities, improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Implement quality management systems to meet ISO 17025 requirements and ensure audit readiness.
• Supervise day-to-day laboratory activities and support the Laboratory Manager.
• Support product lines across internal departments and R&D.
• Support new product development and manage project team meetings.
• Tabulate and graph data and prepare technical reports for senior personnel.
