Job summary

Supply Technologies, based in Solon, OH, seeks an Engineering Lab Supervisor to lead testing and qualification activities for ISO 17025 certification, PPAP, and SPC compliance.

The role requires directing technicians, allocating lab assignments, evaluating staff performance, maintaining records, and liaising with inspectors and internal teams to ensure accurate data and reliable parts.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in related field or minimum five years of related experience.
• Knowledge of PPAP and SPC charts.
• Understanding of drawings, applicable text specification, GD&T, and dimensional layouts.
• Proficiency with metrology methods utilizing an array of testing equipment.
• Knowledge of gage calibration.
• Proficiency with testing, neutral salt spray, sample preparation (cutting, mounting, polishing, etching), and interpretation.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.

Responsibilities

• Provide directions and training to the technicians and prioritize jobs as needed.
• Provide failure analysis testing and reporting to internal/external customers.
• Maintain test equipment, both maintenance and calibration.
• Provide testing and failure analysis support to Supply Technologies branches.
• Provide technical support to internal customers as requested, including drawings, specification reviews, and interpretations of reviews.
• Any other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.
• Record technical information, mechanical, and performance testing.
• Update and maintain documentation for ISO 17025 Certification.
• Lead the ISO 17025 testing and certification requirements.
