Job summary

Calculated Hire seeks a LATAM payroll accounting specialist to join a growing global payroll operations team in Houston. You will own triage for LATAM payroll tickets, investigate discrepancies, and perform journal entries in SAP S/4HANA, supporting Brazil and Mexico while shaping the function as it expands.

Role requires 3–5 years in payroll accounting, fluent Spanish, and experience with SAP S/4HANA/ECC; collaborate with regional hubs, HR, and IT.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• 3-5 years in payroll accounting or payroll operations in a multinational setting.
• Knowledge of LATAM payroll regulations (Mexico, Colombia).
• Fluent Spanish, written and spoken.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as triage point for LATAM payroll service tickets.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and perform root case analysis.
• Record payroll-related journal entries in SAP S/4HANA.
• Interpret and apply country-specific payroll and tax requirements.
• Collaborate with regional hubs, HR, Legal, IT and vendors.
