Job summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) seeks a Director to lead card portfolio optimization for the Latin America and Caribbean region. This role defines standards, shapes data- and AI-enabled solutions, and supports adoption across markets.

You'll work with regional teams, cross-functional partners, and VCA leadership to deliver scalable, practical portfolio optimization capabilities and governance. Strong leadership and hands-on execution are essential in a lean team.

Qualifications

15+ years of relevant experience in payments, financial services, consulting, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of banking operations, payment schemes, and card portfolio management.
Proven use of financial indicators to assess portfolio health and guide recommendations.
Experience leading card portfolio optimization, PMO, and change management initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as card portfolio optimization SME, guiding growth, lifecycle, and impact opportunities.
Define portfolio optimization standards, rules, and delivery frameworks.
Shape data-, analytics-, and AI-enabled solutions with clear requirements and use cases.
Create scalable playbooks, templates, and training for markets.
Collaborate with regional teams to share best practices and scale approaches.
Connect VCA services, Visa capabilities, and client needs into actions.
Govern strategic initiatives with priorities, risks, and exec-ready materials.
Lead change management, training, and AI tool adoption across squads.
Facilitate agile workstreams and ensure progress in a lean team.
