GitLab is seeking a Regional Director, Commercial Sales - LATAM to lead a remote team of Commercial Account Executives and drive software sales across LATAM. The role focuses on bookings, revenue, and expanding customer adoption of our AI-powered DevSecOps platform.

You will build territory plans, align with MEDDPICC methodologies, and recruit top sales talent while fostering a diverse and high-performing team culture with strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in field sales and sales operations in open source software, DevOps, or a similar SaaS environment.
• Experience leading and developing account-focused sales teams.
• Ability to meet or exceed revenue, pipeline, and performance objectives.
• Commercial and analytical skills to interpret market trends and customer needs.
• Experience building go-to-market strategies for LATAM, with direct selling leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Commercial Account Executives serving the LATAM market to deliver software sales, bookings, and revenue results.
• Build territory and industry plans based on market dynamics and customer needs.
• Establish operating rhythm with qualification standards, pipeline hygiene, and forecast accuracy.
• Own accurate sales forecasts, territory management, and regional growth strategies.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard sales talent, and maintain a pipeline of future hires in LATAM.
