Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees and ensure safety, quality, attendance, and delivery promises. Training will occur at an off-site location for 6+ weeks and travel accommodations will be provided by Amazon.

You will collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet objectives, lift up to 49 pounds, and work in environments with varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as climb/descend stairs.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations and refrigerated locations).
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts).
