Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Memphis, TN. You will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting customer delivery promises.

Training will be at a site over 50 miles away for 6+ weeks with travel accommodations provided by Amazon. You will collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to develop plans and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently move.
• Work in environments with varying noise, temperatures, and weather.
