Job summary

HP, Inc. seeks a highly analytical Data Analyst to support the Print Supplies business, translating consumer and enterprise print telemetry into trusted metrics, dashboards, and insights with a focus on laser printer data.

You will partner with data engineers and data scientists to improve data reliability, define KPI semantics, and influence cross-functional decisions through clear data storytelling. Strong SQL, Python, and visualization skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own laser print telemetry insights from framing to recommendations.
• Translate business questions into analytical requirements and KPIs.
• Provide ad hoc analyses with clear hypotheses, methods, and documented limitations.
• Collaborate to align telemetry instrumentation and data collection across platforms.
• Investigate data quality issues and communicate remediation paths.
• Document dashboards and KPI definitions; coach users on interpretation.
• Design and maintain measurement frameworks and support experiments where applicable.
• Create narratives through summaries, presentations, and recurring reports for leadership.
