Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation seeks a Laser Print Operator, Back-end to manipulate data and initiate production jobs for laser printing. You will stage print jobs, ensure timely delivery, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Collaborate with Facility Managers, Production Supervisors and Leads, manage multiple printers, log time and materials in the ERP system, and uphold safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate standard production equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.
• Must follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs data manipulation on the computer network and initiates jobs for production and laser printing.
• Stages printed jobs in production to ensure smooth flow and on-time delivery.
• Works with Facility Managers, Supervisors and Leads to handle directives, deliveries and changes.
• Minimizes waste and manages raw materials usage efficiently.
• Communicates with associates and coordinators to ensure correct information is communicated.
• Manages multiple printers, logs time and materials in ERP, and maintains records.
• Ensures print quality by sampling and checking print jobs.
• Maintains inventory levels and pre-printed items in storage areas.
• Alerts supervisors about data delays and potential data issues.
• Keeps work area clean, organized and compliant with safety rules.
