Job summary

Global Laser Enrichment LLC in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a Laser Technician Team Manager to lead the Laser Technician organization on-site. The role includes hiring, developing, evaluating, and maintaining qualification programs, while aligning staffing with operational needs.

Requires Q-Clearance eligibility, and a background in nuclear/regulated environments. Regular extended hours or off-normal schedules may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Leadership experience in a nuclear, industrial, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environment.
Experience supervising and developing technical personnel.
Knowledge of Conduct of Operations and Human Performance principles.
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
Ability to work extended hours or off-normal schedules.

Responsibilities

Provides direct supervision, coaching, and development for Laser Technicians at all levels.
Establishes performance expectations, conducts evaluations, and provides ongoing feedback.
Leads recruiting, interviewing, hiring recommendations, and onboarding of Laser Technicians.
Maintains qualification programs and workforce readiness.
Coordinates with other team Managers to align staffing with operational needs while maintaining long-term organizational capability.
Supports budget planning, resource management, and workforce forecasting.
