Job summary

Global Laser Enrichment in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced leader to supervise the Laser Technician organization on-site. You will hire, develop, evaluate, and retain Laser Technicians, manage qualification and workforce readiness, and partner with other managers to meet staffing with long-term capability.

Ideal candidates have a engineering or management background, extensive leadership experience in regulated environments, and the ability to obtain required security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of leadership experience in regulated environments (nuclear, industrial, manufacturing).
• Experience supervising and developing technical personnel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision, coaching, and development for Laser Technicians at all levels.
• Establishes performance expectations, conducts evaluations, and provides feedback.
• Develops career growth plans and identifies future leaders.
• Leads recruiting, hiring decisions, and onboarding of Laser Technicians.
• Maintains staffing levels and qualification coverage.
• Oversees qualification programs and training for Laser Technicians.
