Job summary

Xcimer Energy in Denver, CO seeks a Technical Project Manager – Laser System to drive execution of the Inertial Fusion Energy Program’s laser systems. You will coordinate with engineering teams, manage schedules, and maintain key artifacts to hit design-review milestones.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project delivery for laser/optical hardware, strong communication, and proficiency with Jira, Flow, and Primavera P6 in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering management, construction management, business management, engineering, physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in project engineering, project coordination, or planning supporting laser/optical hardware development in engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of Laser Element projects with informed technical decision making.
• Plan, schedule, and track progress using Jira, Flow, and planning tools.
• Monitor design-review efforts and assess progress toward milestones; elevate risks as needed.
• Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and action items across sub-teams.
• Coordinate staffing/resources across laser engineering, optics, pulsed power, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Assist in tracking element cost and develop execution spend plans.
