Job summary

Douglas Dynamics is seeking a Profile Specialist to oversee laser profiling operations, program and maintain equipment, and support continuous improvement across production. You will ensure quality and safety, train operators, and collaborate with engineering on ECNs and new product ramp‑ups.

The role emphasizes hands-on machine operation, PM program support, and maintaining 5S organization to maximize uptime and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating laser and profiling equipment.
• Ability to program and troubleshoot profiling machinery.
• Maintain 5S organization and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profiling operations to match Standard of Work, and modify work instructions as needed.
• Train Laser Operators using prescribed methods and document training.
• Support PM programs to maximize machine uptime and assist in production as required.
• Operate laser and press brakes components for hands-on production tasks.
