Job summary

Gateway Laser Services in Maryland Heights, MO, seeks a Laser Technician to support production activities, operate laser systems, and assist with in-process inspection and packaging. The role reports to the Technical Director and works with Production Managers and Engineers to deliver high-quality parts for diverse industries.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in precision manufacturing, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, and strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task across

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in precision manufacturing or similar manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of tooling and fixturing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage production activities including laser processing, in-process inspection, cleaning, and packaging.
• Recordkeeping in ERP system with inspection data and parts produced.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Technicians to streamline processes.
• Optional: setup operation for various jobs and adjust laser parameters.
• Optional: maintain and repair laser systems and equipment.
