Job summary

Standex Engraving in Maumee, OH is seeking a Production and Procurement Specialist to coordinate laser and chemical engraving production from job intake through on-time delivery, driving excellence in service, quality and customer satisfaction.

You will own procurement, shipping and logistics, P-card and invoice reconciliation, and inventory cycle counts for the facility, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Finance to optimize operations and supplier relationships on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a comparable role.
• Associate degree in Procurement, Engineering, or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• Knowledge of SAP (including PO creation) or another ERP system.
• Understanding of purchasing concepts, three-way match, and basic negotiation principles.
• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping documentation and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule engraving work and manage Jira board workflows.
• Monitor equipment availability and utilization; provide forecasts and reporting.
• Own procurement, sourcing quotes, purchase orders, and supplier negotiations.
• Coordinate shipping and logistics for domestic and international materials.
• Reconcile invoices and support month-end close; manage inventory cycle counts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Finance.
• Lead weekly workflow reviews with the Sales Team and support customer interactions.
• Maintain accurate records and support the invoicing process.
