Job summary

GH Metal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a qualified forklift operator to support production. The role involves operating forklift safely, loading and unloading, inspecting materials, and ensuring accurate staging and labeling to meet customer specs.

You will follow all safety policies, assist with housekeeping, and help maintain an efficient workflow in a continuous-improvement environment aligned with our quality objectives and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing setting is required or preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders with accuracy.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments used in material inspection.
• Commitment to following safety policies and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift during routine duties and maintain safety-first culture.
• Load/unload, receive, inspect, and stage materials to support production.
• Move finished products from production areas with proper ID, banding, labeling.
• Replenish supplies in assigned areas as directed by supervision.
• Document finished goods for shipment and verify received goods for accuracy.
• Follow preventative maintenance policies and report needed repairs.
• Count, weigh, and record units of materials moved daily.
• Ensure materials are within forklift capacity limits and safety guidelines.
• Meet established production standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
