Job summary

Clow Stamping Company is seeking a Laser Production Assistant to support the Laser Department by inspecting parts, removing imperfections, and ensuring smooth production flow. The role involves working on the laser line, maintaining safety, and collaborating with senior operators to meet quality standards.

Starting pay is $19.80 per hour with potential to reach $20.80, plus a shift differential on certain weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools or grinders is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a Clow forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Inspect laser-cut parts for burrs, slag, and tabs, removing imperfections to meet quality standards.
• Remove completed parts from laser nests and keep laser beds clear for continuous production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the Laser Department.
• Use our ERP system and a forklift to move, stage, and store materials accurately.
• Work closely with Lead and Senior Laser Operators to keep production flowing smoothly.

Shifts Available:

• Shift 21: 6:00am - 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay:

• $19.80 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.80 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Inspect laser-cut parts for burrs, slag, and tabs, removing imperfections to meet quality standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 100 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, material handling, and part movement
• Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
