Job summary

Clow is seeking a Laser Production Assistant to help keep our laser production running smoothly by inspecting parts, removing imperfections, and supporting the Laser Department.

You will inspect laser-cut parts for burrs and imperfections, move materials with a forklift, and maintain a clean, safe work area while collaborating with Lead and Senior Operators to ensure steady production flow.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools or grinders is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a Clow forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Inspect laser-cut parts for burrs, slag, and tabs, removing imperfections to meet quality standards.
• Remove completed parts from laser nests and keep laser beds clear for continuous production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the Laser Department.
• Use our ERP system and a forklift to move, stage, and store materials accurately.
• Work closely with Lead and Senior Laser Operators to keep production flowing smoothly.

Shifts Available:

• Shift 21: 6:00am - 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay:

• $19.80 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.80 per hour

What You'll Do

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 100 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, material handling, and part movement
• Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
