Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Laser Process Engineering to advance laser technologies from design to manufacturing. You will collaborate with mechanical, software, machine vision, and laser physics teams to develop platforms and tooling for laser processing on the production floor.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, hands-on engineering, and close collaboration with NPD to optimize DFM/DFA for laser processes. Onsite work with travel as needed.

Formación

• Minimum BS / MS degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, minimum 3 years with a masters
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience designing or manufacturing commercial products, medical device experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to create platforms and workholding for laser processing
• Improve laser process output in laser lab and production environments
• Drive root cause analyses of system and equipment failures with data analysis
• Design, qualify, document, and validate laser processes and tooling
• Provide production line support for day-to-day engineering issues with laser equipment
• Support NPD to drive DFM/DFA for laser processes
