Job summary

Cirtec Medical Corporation is seeking a Sr. Principal Laser Engineer to define, design and develop laser welding, cutting, ablation and marking equipment and processes.

You will lead the laser team, translate customer requirements into robust processes, and drive manufacturability across multiple programs while ensuring quality and schedule commitments. You will train and mentor engineers, set up production parameters, and develop validations and process QA documentation for complex medical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM engineering discipline.
• 15 years of engineering experience in mechanical design and manufacturing, preferably medical devices.
• Expert-level SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, CNC, and G-code programming.
• Proficient in modern statistical methods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the laser engineering team and projects.
• Develop laser welding, cutting, ablation and marking processes.
• Create process recipes and QC documentation.
• Provide training to Laser team and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and customers.
• Coordinate installation and acceptance of laser systems.
• Mentor associates and drive new laser technologies.
