Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Waukesha, WI is hiring a Production Support Operator on the 3rd shift to work with laser and press-brake operations, converting sheet metal into parts for transformer and regulator tanks.

The role covers material handling, machine maintenance, safety, and teamwork; the job offers a $23.15 base hourly rate plus a $2.50 shift premium, weekly pay, health benefits from day one, holidays, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with lasers in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Load materials onto laser table and perform laser cutting operations per specifications, instructions, schedules, and drawings.
• Complete tasks for laser operation including setup and verification of material thickness; load and unload parts; check tolerances.
• Load and assist in press brake metal forming operations to meet production and quality standards.
• Operate a forklift and crane.
• Keep work area clean and provide a safe environment for self and others.
• Wear PPE including safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toed boots, gloves.
