Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a Laser Operator in West Bend to operate Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 lasers, de-nest parts, and finish parts for the fabrication line. You will organize parts, verify materials, and support other operators as needed in a fast, Just-in-time shop.
The role requires basic measurement skills, blueprint reading, and knowledge of G and M codes. Forklift handling and teamwork are essential for daily throughput and safety.
Reporting to the Laser Supervisor this role is primarily responsible for operating Lasers and de-nesting parts cut by the laser and metal finishing, identifying and organizing the laser cut parts in a Just-in-time fabrication shop. The Laser Operator also may be required to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines as required. Seeking a Laser Operator on 1st Shift and 2nd Shift.
