Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a Laser Operator for first and second shifts in a fast-paced fabrication shop. You will set up and run Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 lasers, verify material thickness, denest parts, and ensure parts meet time and quality standards.
The role includes basic troubleshooting, documentation, and helping other operators as required. The ideal candidate has a strong laser or CNC background, proficient measurement skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
Reporting to the Laser Supervisor this role is primarily responsible for operating Lasers and de-nesting parts cut by the laser and metal finishing, identifying and organizing the laser cut parts in a Just-in-time fabrication shop. The Laser Operator also may be required to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines as required. Seeking a Laser Operator on 1st Shift and 2nd Shift.
