Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Laser Operator in Minnesota, responsible for cutting parts, removing and identifying cut parts, and ensuring proper table values, nozzle selection, material checks, and product inspections.

You will oversee quality and quantity of parts off the tables on the 3:00pm–11:00pm shift, Monday through Friday, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits described in our Steelperks program.

Qualifications

• Measuring features and inspecting with precision tools.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures.
• Experience or familiarity with crane operations and loading devices.
• Basic math and reading drawings required.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting equipment and manage parts on the cutting table.
• Remove and identify cut parts, perform material checks, and inspect quality.
