Olympic Steel, Inc. is seeking a Laser Operator to cut parts and manage removal and identification from the cutting table, ensuring correct nozzle selection, material checks, and overall part quality.
You will be responsible for the quality and quantity of parts produced off the table(s). The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of hands-on laser experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to maintain optics and program parameters for efficient cutting

TheLaserOperatorposition is responsible for all job tasks associated with the cutting of the parts and the proper removal and identification of the cut parts from the cutting table and packaging, including but not limited to: ensuring proper tech table values, nozzle selection, material checks, cut quality, transformations and product inspections. As the Laser Operator, you are responsible for the quality and quantity of the parts coming off the table(s).
