Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a Laser Operator in Charlotte, NC to set up, operate, and program basic laser tasks. You will ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and consistently meets customer specifications while adhering to safety standards.

You will perform changeovers, conduct quality checks, and analyze process data to maintain product quality. The role includes teamwork, training others, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, routers, and production documentation.
• Proficient in basic math and measurements and using hand-held tools.
• Operate laser equipment safely and efficiently while following safety protocols.
• Maintain quality through first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail to produce high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and assist with changeovers for smooth transitions between runs.
• Operate laser equipment to maintain efficient, high-quality output.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure conformity.
• Complete production control charts and analyze data for customer specs.
• Train others in production duties and procedures.
