Job summary

Metalcraft Of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a Laser Operator to operate Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 lasers on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will de-nest cut parts, load material, and ensure parts are organized for Just-in-Time fabrication.

Responsibilities include setting up lasers, verifying thickness, training others as needed, solving basic machine issues, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong laser or CNC operating background.
• Competent with basic dimensional measurement and precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 lasers.
• De-nest and load parts; ensure correct material thickness.
• Train others on laser set-up and operation when needed.
• Identify and solve simple machine alignment and cut conditions.
• Troubleshoot minor program errors in a timely manner.
• Cross-train across multiple laser platforms and cells.
