Job summary

Qualifications

• Pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspection & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• 1–3 years of laser operator or CNC machine operator experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing or production experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documents.
• Basic computer skills to navigate software systems, enter information, and print documents.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to accurately use measuring and inspection equipment.
• Regular attendance and willingness to work overtime when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklift equipment or obtain certification.
• Physical ability to pass vision, hearing, mobility, and lifting requirements.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all company policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and shut down fiber laser cutting equipment; select cutting parameters.
• Review work orders and blueprints to ensure accurate processing and output.
• Load and stage materials using forklifts and handling equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain productivity.
• Inspect finished parts with measuring tools to verify print accuracy and document issues.
• Perform routine operator-level preventative maintenance and basic care of machines.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
