Hamilton by Gunnebo is seeking a Machine Operator I – Fiber Laser for the 2nd shift. The role involves operating and maintaining fiber laser cutting machines, setting up CNC parameters, and ensuring parts meet exact specifications.

The ideal candidate brings CAD familiarity and a strong safety mindset to a fast-paced production environment. You will work with tooling setups, participate in 5S/Kaizen, and document production and inspection results to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fiber laser cutting machines or similar CNC equipment in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and blueprint interpretation.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar tools.
• Knowledge of GD&T and fabrication techniques.
• Hands-on tooling setup on press brakes, CNC mills/lathes, and material handling equipment.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor fiber laser cutting machines with precision.
• Set up machine parameters using CNC/CAM programming and blueprint reading.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of fiber laser equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain logs and documentation for production runs and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols on the factory floor.
• Support 5S and Kaizen activities.
