Job summary

J&K Commercial Construction is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join our stainless steel and sheet metal fabrication division in Kent, WA. You will operate laser cutting equipment, load and unload material, and ensure parts meet exacting specifications.

You will read blueprints and fabrication drawings, deburr components, and help keep production moving. We value reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new processes while advancing your fabrication skills.

Qualifications

• Laser cutting machine experience is required.
• Ideal candidates will have sheet metal or metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand dimensions.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet and tube laser cutting equipment.
• Load and unload material.
• Set up and monitor laser cutting operations.
• Read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
• Deburr and prepare laser-cut components for fabrication.
• Assist press brake operators when needed.
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
• Learn additional fabrication processes and equipment as your skills develop.
