Job summary

J&K Commercial Construction is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a team that prides itself on precision craftsmanship and tackling varied fabrication projects across the region.

You will read fabrication drawings, set up and operate CNC press brakes for custom stainless-steel fabrication, and perform single-piece and short-run setups. A focus on quality, accuracy, and teamwork drives success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of press brake experience.
• Experience forming stainless steel and other sheet metal materials.
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and shop blueprints.
• Set up and operate CNC press brakes for custom stainless-steel fabrication.
• Perform one-off and short-run setups for custom parts.
• Determine proper bend sequences and tooling for each project.
• Verify bend allowances and finished dimensions.
• Use precision measuring equipment.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machine setups and make adjustments when necessary.
• Work closely with welders, fabricators, and shop personnel to keep projects moving.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Safely lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Safely lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds

What We’re Looking For
