Harper Industries is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join their team as a Laser Operator in Harper, KS. You will operate CNC laser cutting equipment and read blueprints, with training provided on first shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting equipment ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Set up and monitor machines per job specs and production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and instructions.
• Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting.
• Perform quality checks with calipers, tapes measures, and other tools.
• Handle and organize materials before and after cutting.
• Clean, deburr, and prepare parts for the next production phase.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and report issues promptly.

Harper Industries is looking for a mechanically inclined individual who is motivated to learn new things to join their team as a Laser Operator in Harper, KS.

Familiarity with Fabrication equipment and/or experience with CNC Laser Cutting is a HUGE plus!

This is a 4-day workweek, 3rd shift opportunity.

• Set up and monitor machines based on job specifications and production requirements

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job instructions

• Set up and operate CNC Plasma

• Perform quality checks using calipers, tape measures, and other tools
