Job summary

Allina Health in Minneapolis seeks a Laser Technician to operate, supervise and transport laser/navigation systems to support patient care. You will ensure safety and proper handling of equipment throughout procedures.

The role includes maintaining lasers, coordinating maintenance, and providing on-site support for Stealth navigation during cranial and spinal procedures. A strong safety focus and basic technical training are essential.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in electronics, laser or surgical technology is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of technical experience with laser work in health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates, supervises and transports laser/navigation systems to support patient care.
• Maintains lasers and related equipment, and coordinates with Central Equipment Services for maintenance and documentation.
• Provides Laser Safety Officer duties during procedures and supports navigational Stealth system usage.
