Other duties may be assigned.The Laser Interferometer Technician will manage the laser testing and the data analysis of production Haas machines for the purpose of maintaining our ECCN database. Responsibilities include:Have a thorough understanding of how to set up and use the Renishaw laser interferometer equipment.Perform laser tests on machines in production in an organized fashion by following a schedule and by coordinating with assembly managers and supervisors to get access to the machines as needed.Analyze data and create standard reports for all machines measured.Store test data on the network, keep the ECCN database updated and accurate, and keep the inside sales group updated in order to maintain the export control data in the SAP material master for each top-level product.Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty adequately.
