Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Apopka, Florida, seeks a General Manufacturing Manager 2 to lead the various Laser Manufacturing Cells and their associated leadership team within the Manufacturing Operations organization. This position is onsite in Apopka, FL.

The role requires directing exempt and non-exempt staff, driving cost, quality and schedule targets, and implementing Lean, ISO, and World Class manufacturing practices. SAP/MES transactions are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a master's with 6+ years.
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing, production, or engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• US citizenship required.
