Job summary

IEM in Jacksonville seeks a Third Shift Fabrication Lead to ensure continuous operation of laser machines and fabrication equipment through the third shift. You’ll oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of lasers, shears, turret punches, and press brakes to meet production goals.

You’ll work with first and second shifts, document machine performance and material usage, and maintain safety and organization in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC equipment in a fabrication/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a small shift crew.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong emphasis on safety and quality adherence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous operation of laser machines and fabrication equipment during third shift.
• Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of lasers, shears, turret punches, and press brakes.
• Manage loading/unloading of materials in automation towers to support workflow.
• Coordinate with first and second shifts to ensure smooth handovers and safety.
