Job summary

United Alloy, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC laser operator to work on-site in Wisconsin. The role involves loading CAD data, configuring CO2 or fiber lasers, and ensuring precise cuts and engravings per design.

You will inspect parts, adjust parameters, and support routine maintenance to keep the laser system running smoothly. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of laser-cutting experience, familiarity with Cincinnati or Mitsubishi machines, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Over two years' experience operating CO2 or Fiber CNC laser-cutting machines (Cincinnati or Mitsubishi preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and flat print drawings.
• Exposure to metal fabrication concepts; able to operate basic hand and air tools; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Align and secure materials on the laser cutting table.
• Load and interpret CAD files into the machine interface.
• Adjust machine settings (power, speed, focus) for material type and thickness.
• Operate laser to cut or engrave per design and inspect outcomes.
• Schedule maintenance and perform routine checks on the laser system.
