Job summary

Munters Corporation is seeking a Laser Press Operator to support the 2nd shift. You will operate a fiber laser, read blueprints, set up machines, and ensure parts meet specifications through quality checks. You will handle layout, labeling, and staging of parts while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires reading BOMs, verifying measurements with calipers and gauges, and following production schedules while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Operate fiber laser cutting equipment per job packets and BOM.
• Verify first piece conformance using calipers, protractors, gauges, and measuring tapes.
• Maintain quality through checks and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fiber laser to cut metal sheets to specs.
• Read blueprints and BOM to determine material needs.
• Position pieces using vacuum system; layout cuts on computer; edit programs as needed.
• Label, stage, and move parts to maintain workflow.
• Perform safety and housekeeping duties.
