Job summary

TRUMPF North America is seeking an Applications Engineer to showcase our laser cutting, bending, and welding technologies to customers. This role supports the sales network during purchasing decisions and provides ongoing on-site and phone support throughout the product lifecycle.

The position requires a 2-year technical degree (4-year degree preferred) with experience in the machine tool industry and excellent communication with customers. Travel to customer sites 20–30% is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate laser cutting, bending, and welding capabilities to customers.
• Organize and conduct customer demonstrations and industry trade shows.
• Evaluate customer parts and create programs to demonstrate TruLaser.
• Provide on-site and telephone support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Travel to customer sites 20–30% to assist during sales or production processes.
